Making Balloon Yoyos for the Spring Picnic

I was not able to be at the Spring Picnic because my daughter graduated from High School at the very same time.

But I did get to help to make balloon yoyos.  It is not easy.  We all got very wet and made many mistakes before we got some right.








I took a break to help twist the "fishing" hooks to use to catch the balloons under water.

It is amazing how many yoyos the students can make in such a short time.

It is also amazing how quickly the parents can clean up and put Akiko's classroom back together before school starts.
