Katy McGraw is a math specialist at the Lawrence School. She has been teaching for 22 years. She taught at Baker, Runkle and for a short time at Pierce School. She also taught at a Bilingual school in Berlin, Germany for a year before coming to Lawrence. She has taught students in all grades K-8 at Lawrence School. Most of her time has been spent with grades 4 and 5.
Thanks to the generosity and support of the Sending Educators To Japan PTO group at the Lawrence School, Ms. McGraw will travel to Japan this summer for 10 days. She is especially interested in learning about how the Japanese arts, crafts, and educational culture contribute to mathematical learning for people in Japan.
