Folding Cranes
January was full of folding adventures! Thank you so much to all the SET-J parents who came to explain to students about the memorial in Hiroshima and why we bring 1000 paper cranes to Japan on behalf of Lawrence School. They did an amazing job of creating the presentation, speaking to students, providing origami paper and giving instruction on how to fold paper cranes. Check out all the steps shown on this poster!
We folded cranes in Jessica's classroom with KG and 3L students, in Ms. Russell's classroom with 2R and 2SC students, in Ms. Gannon's classroom with 2G and 2GR students, with 4W students (seen below) and with Math League members. So many students got involved and generously shared their crafts.
